I don’t spend a lot of time working with Death Knights, if only because of my grasp of their resource system is basically, “Buttons! Press them! Hope for the best!” Still, I like death and I like purple, so when I stumbled onto Wrath of the Lich King Raid Drop - Boss Loot or Raid Trash Drop Death’s Bite a Death Knight special seemed appropriate.

And hey, pointy shoulders! How can you go wrong?

First of all, who discards perfectly good entrails?

This is a bit of a departure from my usual aesthetic, but I don’t care. Those shoulders are fantastic. Seriously, take a minute and watch their animation on Wowhead.

We’re talking surprise shoulder tentacles, people. The best kind.

And this is one of the few sets I’ve done where I actually prefer it on an undead model. Apparently, it’s at its best with a few chunks torn out of it.
